The 14th annual Halloween costume contest at the Library Bar and Grill went down on Saturday, October 27th. People came dressed in their best costume to compete for a chance to win some amazing prizes including a big screen TV, vacation packages to Mexico, Las Vegas, and lots more!!! DJ Unseen was in the house dropping the beats and keeping people dancing all night long.
The new hot spot Blue Agave Republic stepped it up for their 2018 Halloween party showcasing their Agave Horror Show that featured spooky drink specials, DJs and a big costume contest with a prize of $300!
Last Saturday on October 27th 2018, Effex Nightclub opened it’s doors for an epic Halloween party appropriately dubbed ‘Icons and Idols’. The party never stops in downtown Albuquerque. Recently, Albuquerque celebrated Japanese tradition and the welcoming of autumn with its annual Aki Matsuri festival on Sunday, September 23rd at Veteran’s Memorial Park. The event was hosted by New Mexico Japanese American Citizens League (NMJACL) and provided plenty of vendors showcasing custom crafts, delicious food trucks, and plenty of entertainment, from traditional folk dances to a ramen eating contest.
