We all love a crowd-pleaser and ABQ’s own Holly Holm is certainly that and more. This Saturday she fights the current champion, Ronda Rousey in Australia for what will be one of the most watched events this year! Holly Holm is an Albuquerque born mixed martial artist who competes in the UFC bantamweight division. Holm is also a former professional boxer and kickboxer.
During her boxing career, she defended her titles 18 times in three weight classes. She currently ranks #7 in the bantamweight division by the UFC, she has never been taken down heading into UFC 193 against Ronda Rousey, who’s well known for her skill in grappling and jiujitsu.
