Winter Wonderland at EXPO NM – As fall winds down and the holidays approach, Albuquerque’s most dazzling seasonal tradition returns! Opening Thanksgiving Weekend on November 29th, Winter Wonderland NM transforms EXPO New Mexico—home of the NM State Fair—into a glowing, walk-through holiday dreamscape filled with millions of lights, larger-than-life displays, and interactive attractions. This fully immersive walking event invites guests to enter by vehicle and then explore on foot through multiple festive areas, including Villa Hispana, Indian Village, and the Flower Building, all decked out with sparkling lights, colorful inflatables, and the scent of hot cocoa in the air.
Families can meet Santa Claus for photos Friday through Sunday from 6–9 PM (available until December 25th) and enjoy enchanting visits from magical storybook princesses that keep the holiday spirit alive.
