Top Places To Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day

March 13, 2019 by Nichole Harwood

Raise your hand if you feel victimized by your only option on St. Paddy’s Day for drinks coming in the form of obnoxious green pitchers every year. Switch it up this year and seek refuge at Two Cranes Bistro and Brew. Instead of green, reach out for the red chili. Rather than a nice glass of Guinness, take a shot of their freshly pressed juice or delicious cocktails made from the freshest of fruits. Make this Sunday a relaxing one, and take pride in knowing that if you do have a hangover Monday morning that at least it came courtesy of only the finest of ingredients.

Two Cranes: 901 Rio Grande Blvd NW Suite A192, Albuquerque, NM 87104

Two Fools Tavern

What better way to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day than to be in Albuquerque’s own Irish pub? With the largest Whiskey collection in the Southwest and the pure essence of the European feel and experience, there is no better way to spend March 17th. Come on in and enjoy a craftily poured Guinness, and partake in their famous Two Fools Irish Nachos!

Two Fools Tavern:  3211 Central Ave NE, Albuquerque, NM 87106

O’Niell’s Pub

Why stop at just ‘two’? Make it a triple whammy and walk right into O’Niell’s Pub, and experience their motto in real time: “Good Food, Honest Drink”. Starting March 12th all the way onto St. Patrick’s Day, enjoy a steaming plate of corned beef and cabbage while watching the sensational performance of Irish Step Dancers at 2:30 p.m, at the Nob Hill location. It’s a week-long party!

No minors after 6 p.m.

Ain’t no party like a Salt Yard party, because a Salt Yard party don’t stop! Call in sick on March 17th, because everyone will be at the St. Paddy’s Day Patio Bash! Not only will you be able to immerse yourself in Irish tradition with a live performance of World Champion pipe band, High Desert Pipes and Drums, you will also get the chance to wash down their limited time Irish menu items with a $4 green beer!

Marble Brewery

Ke$ha once said, “The party don’t start ‘til Marble walks in…”, those are the exact words she said in her legendary song, “Tik Tok”. Staying true to those words, join Marble Brewery in their annual St. Paddy’s Fest! An all-day event on March 16th, at all three locations. It’s never-ending fun with free live music, an oyster shucking at 3 p.m., and it wouldn’t be St. Paddy’s without their Paddy McNitro stout release!

Marble Brewery: Downtown: 111 Marble Ave NW, Albuquerque, NM 87102

NE Heights: 9904 Montgomery Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87111
